So yeah--one of my best friends (Chris) recently hooked up with his ex-girlfriend (Trisha).  Apparently, she's the jealous type. But I know that people can be like that so when Chris stopped being single I stopped being psychical with him. No hugs--no nothing. I even went so far as to purposely avoid Chris when Trisha is around. Yet a few weeks later my friend tells me I should lay off Chris for awhile because Trisha's getting jealous anyway.

What the hell? I'm at a loss here. I don't really know Trisha--and I've tried to chat with her...but it seems like she ignores me during conversations. I want to show her that I'm not trying to steal her boyfriend away. That Chris and I are only friends--but I don't know how. And I don't want to just come up to her and flat-out tell her this because it'd just be awkward....argh.
